Thing one: I believe I am not telling tales out of school when I let y'all know that our own Ari is within $55 of having enough money for the guitar of their dreams and is accepting donations toward it!   Go go go!  UPDATE: GUITAR ACHIEVED!

Thing two: have y'all seen my song sis Leslie's Kickstarter yet?  Her new record will be called Keep Left at the Fork.  It's a journey into Faerie.  It's amazing new songs, one of which I got to play guitar for.  The KS campaign is called a "Faerie album and fine arts nexus" because she is doing with lots of makers what we are doing with tip rewards: bringing new shiny things into the world in collaboration!  Aagh, so good, and she's just past halfway to her goal with about 18 days left to raise the rest at all-or-nothing.  Go read, boost, back if you can!

Thing three: you are interacting with a very excited song witch right now because I just wrote a killer new song for Lammas/Lughnasadh, which means I will have that to debut during the July 16 broadcast!  BUT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND I AM ABOUT TO BURST, here are the lyrics (updated July 9):

Lammas (Gather Round)
c. S. J. Tucker 2019; all rights reserved.

Gather round for the blessing!
Gather round, gather round!
Gather round, all ye witches/people,
gather round!

Gather round all at Lammas!
Gather round, gather round!
Gather round, all ye corbies,
gather round!

Cut the corn, hold the harvest,
bless the bread, bless the grain.
Seize John Barleycorn
and crown him king.

He shall keep us through the winter.
All that falls shall be reborn.
For the Bride of the Meadow
shall we sing.

"Shall ye sing and wear the garland,
wear the Meadowsweet;
shall ye rise to reap the barley,
rise to cut the sheaf.

I bring blessing on your Lammas
as you crown your fallen king
then call the crows to claim him
and hold me as I grieve.
Rejoice and dance and grieve!"

Gather round for the blessing!
Gather round, gather round!
Gather round, all ye dancers/seekers,
gather round!

Gather round at Lammas!
Gather round, gather round!
Gather round, all ye corbies,
gather round!

All the prizes of the harvest,
gold and orange, brown and green,
flash their colors 'neath the sun
and 'neath the scythe.

Lady dolly on the altar,
crone or maiden, first and last;
cut the barley, cut the wheat
and make her fine.

"Make me fine with cloth & ribbons
e'er you lay me on the fire.
I'm the blessing of your supper,
of the oats and of the rye.

"Blessings on your Lammas
as you crown your fallen king
then call the crows to claim him
and hold me as I grieve.
Rejoice and dance and grieve!"

Gather round for the blessing!
Gather round, gather round!
Gather round, all ye people/witches,
gather round!

Gather round all at Lammas!
Gather round, gather round!
Gather round, all ye corbies,
gather round!

I managed to get a messy studio demo together before my weekly deadline for my songwriter group, but it needs much smoothing.  My cycle was about to come on and so my voice was more slippery than I like it to be on recording days.  My goal is to level up that demo by next Tuesday so it can be a tip reward + hand-lettered commemorative lyric sheet!
