This book is the first in the Dreamhealers duology, and was my introduction to Hogarth's work. The world-building's excellent, and it's one of the kindest, most fun books I've ever read [and reread many times].

I know, right? Especially at that price. If you like it, there're several more series in that setting. She has other universes as well. Her artwork is also delightful.
