Round two of coasters!

Two things, actually, but first thing first: used the last nine of 'em! On a related note, I now have quite a tan from being outside for so long doing them today. Middle one is mine to keep, because YUP. (Top row: 1157, Neptune, No Fire Like Mine; middle: 1157, Ask Me Anything, Sorrow's Song; bottom: Show Me, Show Me, Witchka. All except for Ask Me Anything, Sorrow's Song, and Witchka were specific requests I caught in the midst of the chat these past few concerts! Witchka was because I got bored and the spelling bee was too cute.)





Secondly, GUITAR!!!!!!! AND THANKS TO EVERYBODY!!!!! My preferred strings arrive Monday, so I'll probably be breaking it in, oh, Tuesday morning? With a recording of a certain song, now that my hands don't hurt as much. Hehehehe.

At this rate I might just make a full batch of the Ask Me Anything ones, because that's the one I'm keeping and I'm pretty sure everyone wants them! I had a bunch of requests for 1157, too.

I love them ALL, but the S&S and Show Me ones make me almost let happy tears happen right now. And I LAUGHED ALOUD at the Witchka* one. :D


*full TMI disclosure...I have a tough relationship with this song right now because of the 10-yr age gap mentioned in the lyrics. I have thought of taking it down until I can rerecord a couple of lines, (same as I've already done with my g*psy-mention songs) as there are important conversations going on right now about predation of those who are underage, which the Witchka of the song, as described, legally is. And that's a thing in the Pagan community as much as anywhere. A thing I Do Not wish to imply that I condone or support in any way. And I fret a lot now about the potential for this song to make people upset or uncomfortable, and that it already may have done so. Your art helps me breathe.

Entirely understandable. Do as you wish with that one; if it stays with you until the lines are redone, that’s your choice. And I can entirely appreciate that ick feeling. You’re pretty much always the first to adapt and be all “whoa wait rewrite” —and I have a whole bunch of Taglio ideas I’m holding off on until I hear the pretty new lines, I have to admit!
